Road Safety Calendar Competition now open

We’re seeking talented young artists to help remind all road users of the reasons it is important to stay safe.

Children and youths of all ages are encouraged to enter, with categories for entrants up to 18 years of age. Winning artworks will feature in free calendars and road safety campaigns throughout the South West in 2019.

Entries close 31 October 2018. Terms and conditions apply.

  • We are seeking artwork that will help us spread important road safety messages throughout our community.

    Winning artwork will feature in our 2019 Road Safety Calendar, which will be distributed throughout the community.

    The overall winner will feature on the front of the calendar and collect $500.
    Other winners will feature in the body of the calendar and collect $100 each. Selected artwork will be used in other road safety campaigns.

    Artwork must be A4-sized and landscape-orientated.

    To enter, complete the entry form below by the closing date. Terms and conditions apply.

    • Entry is free and closes at 11.59pm, 31 October 2018.
    • Entries must be accompanied by a completed entry form.
    • The competition is open to Australian residents only.
    • Entrants must have parental permission.
    • Entries may be posted to Industry Road Safety Alliance South West, c/- Shire of Collie, Locked Bag 6225, Collie WA 6225; emailed to info@industryroadsafety.com.au; or online at www.industryroadsafety.com.au.
    • Submitted artwork must be A4-sized and landscape in orientation.
    • Artwork submitted via email must be at least 1mB in size.
    • Artwork submitted must be the entrant’s original unaided work.
    • Winners will be selected by the Industry Road Safety Alliance South West. The Alliance’s decision on all matters relating to the competition will be final.
    • Winners consent to their artwork, name, age and school being used in the 2019 Road Safety Calendar, related promotions and other road safety campaigns.
    • All entrants consent to their artwork not being returned.
